DAY ONE
KUALA LUMPUR/TAMAN NEGARA
08:45 hrs Register for shuttle bus at lower lobby of Crowne Plaza Mutiara Hotel KL.
09:00 hrs depart Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling Jetty
(3hour journey).
Board a motorized longboat for another 3 hours to Kuala Tahan, the headquarters of Taman Negara.

On arrival at Kuala Tembeling, please proceed to register yourself with the National park and Wildlife Department. The longboat departs at 1400 hours.En route you will be passing by local villages and lush tropical rainforest. Any sightings of birds, monkeys, monitor lizards or water buffaloes are a bonus. Sighting of wildlife cannot be guaranteed due to the dense and huge area of Taman Negara (4343 sq km). Expected arrival at Kuala Tahan is 1700 hours, register at the reception of Taman Negara Resorts. After dinner enjoy a slide show about the wonders of the oldest rainforest in the world, Taman Negara.

Your guide will be meeting you this evening, around 2000 hours. He will give you a brief orientation. Your first adventure will be a night jungle walk in the 130 million year old tropical rainforest. We will be on look-out for nocturnal insects amidst the chorus of the rainforest. Overnight in air-conditioned chalet.

DAY TWO
TAMAN NEGARA
Breakfast. We will start with a jungle walk up Teresik Hill. This walk takes us further into the national park. The guide will highlight to you the rich flora found en route. At the top of Teresik Hill, enjoy a panoramic view of the tropical rainforest and on a clear day, see Mount Tahan, the highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. Before returning to the base, we will take a canopy walk.

This walkway is one of 2 only in the world today.Built 40 meters above the ground and 450 meters in length. Experience the rainforest from a different perspective as you will be closer to the top of the trees!

This afternoon, we will take a motorized boat to the cataracts of Lata Berkoh. There is a deep pool delightful for swimming, resting or reading on the rocky area overlooking the river. Overnight in air-conditioned chalet.

DAY THREE
TAMAN NEGARA
Breakfast. The boat for Kuala Tembeling depart at 0900 hours. This journey will take between 2 and 3 hours depending on water level. The transfer from Kuala Tembeling to Kuala Lumpur will depart at 1300 hours, expected arrival into Kuala Lumpur (to a hotel in the city centre between 1700 and 1800 hours).

- Inclusion : Return shuttle bus transfer from KL to Kuala Tembeling Jetty, return boat transfer from jetty to resort, 2 nights accommodation in Chalet with daily breakfast at Mutiara Taman Negara Resort, activities as stated in itinerary.

*What to bring : good walking shoes, hat or cap, sun tan or block lotion, small water proof rucksack, insert repellent, anti-malaria pills, binoculars, water bottle, swimming attire, light clothings – preferable cotton material, touch and raincoat.

*Note : The rainy season in Malaysia is between middle November to middle / end January. During the rainy season, some of the activities may be cancelled. Should there be a high element of safety at risk. On the boat journey between Kuala Tembeling and Kuala Tahan and vice versa, you may asked to disembark if the water level in the river is too low.
